Pastor Rod Blackmon


Our Pastor
     Pastor Rod Blackmon & First Lady San Blackmon founded Victory Bible Ministries on November 9, 1996 in Newnan, GA. Pastor Rod Blackmon graduated in 2001 with a degree in Pastoral Studies. He is the founder of the “Reasons To Live” radio and television broadcast. He is affiliated with The Urban Alternative ministry (Dallas, TX) & was most recently honored with the Ministry of Excellence Award in 2008 by Dr. Tony Evans.

He has also participated in the following community events:
 ◊ Guest Speaker at the Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry Annual Christmas Dinner at Turner Field.
 ◊ Offered the Dedication Prayer for the Greenspace Project in Southwest Atlanta with Mayor Shirley Franklin.

Pastor Blackmon is married to First Lady San Blackmon.

2008 Ministry of Excellence Award Recipient
     Pastor Blackmon & Victory Bible Ministries were awarded the 2008 Ministry of Excellence Award by The Urban Alternative. The Urban Alternative is a ministry founded by Dr. Tony Evans with a mission "to equip, empower and unite Christians to impact individuals, families, churches and communities for the rebuilding of lives from the inside out."
